Work Immigration


1-EXPRESS ENTRY

 To use the express entry system, you need to meet the requirements of one of the four immigration programs:

1-1 Federal Skilled Worker:

  • One year or more of full-time paid work experience in a position that is classified as NOC 0, A, or B
  • Score at least 67 points on the Federal Skilled Worker Points System, which is based on your education, age, language, work experience, etc. This should include a post-secondary education

1-2- Provincial Nominee

  • Be nominated by one of Canada’s provinces or territories
  • Each stream of every PNP program has its own unique requirements to qualify for a nomination

1-3- Federal Skilled Trades

  • 2 or more years of experience in a skilled trade in the past 5 years
  • Job offer from a Canadian employer outlining at least one year of work OR a Canadian skilled trade certification

1-4- Canadian Experience Class

  • Have a minimum of one year of full0time paid work experience in Canada in a position classified as NOC 0, A, or B
  • Meet the English language requirements
  • Intend to live outside of Quebec
